parson communication was founded in March 2006 by Ulrike Parson, who has been in the documentation and localization industry since 1993.

Born 1968, she graduated in English, American, and Scandinavian studies at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University, Greifswald. She spent guest terms at the Humboldt University, Berlin, and the University of East Anglia, Norwich.

After finishing her studies, she started her professional career as a translation manager with an international localization company. Between 1995 and 2006, she worked as technical writer for several software companies and managed different documentation teams.
